Cherry Pie

Door County is the fourth largest producer of cherries in the nation (although much smaller than the leading producers Michigan, New York and Utah.) All but 100 acres of the entire state of Wisconsin’s crop is grown right here in Door County, producing approximately 13 million pounds of cherries. The average cherry tree in Door County produces about 7,000 tart cherries, enough for 28 pies.

When you have cherries coming out your ears, you come up with some creative (and DELICOUS) ways to use them… although cherry pie is still our keystone.

Stop in and try them for yourself or get these best selling cherry items shipped to your door.
